Rules for Mare Gradings
The increasing success of Dansk Varmblod in international dressage and jumping is based in an old tradition of selecting only the best mares and stallions for breeding. The mare gradings have existed since the 1960'ies and are now a part of a complex system of riding tests, exterior evaluations, offspring evaluations, an elite studbook, the coveted breeder's medals and much more.
